The Swim Center has helped Henry County learn to swim since 1995! We start with infants as young as 4 months and teach everyone to be brave and strong! No matter your age, it’s never too late to learn water safety.

For 29 years, we’ve taught people of all abilities to swim. Each week, over 400 students learn important swimming skills in a safe, fun way.

What age can my child start swim lessons?

The Swim Center begins teaching children to swim as young as four months old. Children from 4 months to 36 months enroll in our Guppies class. Guppies is a baby-and-me style class where a parent or guardian is in the pool with an instructor.

If your child is older, don't wait any longer! The Swim Center material is designed to teach people of all ages and abilities how to become safe and confident swimmers for life.

How much do swim lessons cost?

Swim lesson prices vary based on the the class size you enrolled in.

Private lessons have a 1:1 student to teacher ratio.

Semi-private lessons have a 2:1 student to teacher ratio.

Group lessons have a 4:1 student to teacher ratio.

How long are the swimming lessons?

Swim lessons at The Swim Center are 25 minutes. This is an ideal amount of time for students to learn and have fun. We also offer 55-minute private lessons.

How many students are in a swim class?

Private lessons have a 1:1 student to teacher ratio.

Do you teach swimming lessons to people with special needs?

Absolutely! Children and adults with autism are able to learn how to swim at The Swim Center. Please contact us to discuss what level and class type may be best for your swimmer.

Do you offer adult swimming lessons?

Of course! Unlike some swim schools, The Swim Center believes everyone needs to know how to swim. Whether you want to go to the beach or have fun on a cruise, you too can safely enjoy the water.
